Our Privacy Commitment

StashFlow operates 100% offline. We do not collect, store, or have access to any of your personal financial data. Your information never leaves your device unless you explicitly choose to export it.

What We Don't Collect

• We do NOT store any of your financial transactions
• We do NOT save your budget information
• We do NOT collect your savings goals or stashes
• We do NOT retain any personal financial data
• We do NOT track your spending habits
• We do NOT have access to your account balances

Offline-Only Architecture

StashFlow is designed to work entirely on your device. All data is stored locally using your device's storage capabilities. This means:

• Your data remains on your device at all times
• No cloud synchronization or backup to our servers
• Complete functionality without internet connection
• You have full control over your data

AI Chat Assistant

Our AI Chat feature processes your queries to provide financial insights and advice. Here's how we protect your privacy:

• No Data Storage: We do NOT save any conversation history or queries
• Processing Only: Your questions are processed in real-time and immediately discarded
• No Training: Your data is never used to train or improve AI models
• Temporary Processing: All processing is ephemeral and deleted after response generation

Receipt Scanner

When you use our receipt scanning feature:

• Images are processed locally on your device when possible
• If cloud processing is required for OCR (Optical Character Recognition), the image is immediately deleted after text extraction
• We do NOT store any receipt images
• Extracted data is saved only on your device
• No receipt information is retained on any servers

Data Management

Your Responsibility

Since StashFlow is offline-only, you are responsible for:

• Creating regular backups of your data
• Exporting your data before uninstalling the app
• Managing data transfers when changing devices
• Keeping your exported backup files secure

Data Import/Export

• You can export your data as JSON files for backup
• Exported files are saved to your device's storage
• Import functionality allows you to restore from backups
• We never have access to your exported or imported files

Third-Party Services

StashFlow minimizes the use of third-party services:

• App Analytics: We may collect anonymous app usage statistics (like app crashes or feature usage) to improve the app. This data contains no personal or financial information
• OCR Services: If used for receipt scanning, images are processed and immediately deleted

Data Security

Your data security is ensured through:

• Local storage encryption on your device
• No data transmission to external servers
• No cloud storage vulnerabilities
• Complete isolation from internet threats

Children's Privacy

StashFlow is not intended for use by children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected in the app with the updated "Last updated" date. Since we don't collect your data, policy changes primarily relate to app functionality.
